Book 2–3 weeks ahead in summer
June–September fills up fast on Cyprus. Booking early locks in your preferred date and lets us schedule the right van size.
- 2
Photograph every room before packing
Your phone gallery becomes a free inventory. Useful for insurance, for re-arranging the new home, and for any landlord disputes.
- 3
Label boxes by room, not by content
Movers don't read 'kitchen utensils 2/4' — they read 'KITCHEN'. Use thick markers and label two sides of every box.
- 4
Keep a 'first-night box'
Kettle, mugs, toilet paper, phone charger, sheets, toothbrushes, painkillers. One box you don't have to dig for at 11pm.
- 5
Defrost the freezer 24 hours before
A wet freezer ruins boxes and electronics around it. Disconnect, drain, wipe, leave the door open overnight.
- 6
Disconnect gas bottles — by law
In Cyprus, transporting connected gas cylinders is illegal. We disconnect, cap and transport them separately, upright and secured.
- 7
Reserve the building lift in writing
Most apartment blocks in Cyprus have one small lift. A 5-minute message to the building manager saves 90 minutes on move day.
Stick these on the fridge. Or just message us — we'll handle the parts you don't want to.
